The MBA course brings the ability to communicate effectively. When we communicate by applying the techniques and the skills, we do build better understanding with people in our environment despite difference amongst us. Organizational differences are a part and parcel of working but there are ways to deal with them, and the best way is to create a climate of understanding through communication skills. In one year executive MBA course we also care about:

  • Transactional process that involves an exchange of ideas, information, feelings, attitudes, or beliefs and impressions;

Definitely communication is the utmost important part of human life. Its not about any kind of MBA where we learn its importance and its role in management, its about how you portrait the things in front others. Now whether it is management or part of your informal life.
One small example I would like to put in front, where when I was working as a sales agent and in few days I realised that my TL (team leader) was gender biased and I was really annoyed of this. I complained to the higher authorities with authentic proof. This was my communication style where after taking this step I build a strong relation with TL.

The gist of the story was that its not about all management terminologies only, its also about how diplomatically you communicate, how you take the things in the worst conditions where people are really against you and there you manage the things in fovor to you just by using political, cognitive and diplomatic kind of communication.

communication is a default need for everyone  , what is important for Managers is good listening skill.

Effective communication is a must for and management to be successful. if policies and programs are not understood then of what is such management system
Having knowledge about anything is of no importance until unless one can communicate it effectively in the manner one can understand.
the whole machinery is through effective communication whether in writing or spoken.Hence communication is the hub for any development, execution,extraction of right job, expression of ones feelings, effective tool for others to judge oneself through communication,words are powerful in the way it is placed in conversation or in writing that really brings in what one has to express.
Hence the whole world whether it is negotiation, business, strategy, planning,command and control,governance is all through effective  communication only.
I strongly support Ms Rakhi Sharma's strong recommendations.
Its because of this we too have started this organisation and one of its goals is to caoach students and other youth on effective communication

Yes obviously communication is always an important tool. You will loose, if your communication is not clear, simple. Todays everywhere communication is became a blood of an organization like sales. Without sales , business can not run, same like that without effective communication, many things can loose. if you will analyse that in interview, HR person is giving major focus on communication skill verbal as well as written..

Have you been taught how to communicate with deaf and dumb? Or for that matter, how to communicate with a person who does not understand any of your native languages and English, in general?  How to deal with them?  Even, best of the learned persons, educated and holding multiple doctorates, go often on a silent mode.  How to help him communicate with public at large?  Its said easier than done?  At times, "Silence is Golden", communicates great things in life!

COMMUNICATION IS THE FIRST AND THE FOREMOST TOOL IN ANY MANAGEMENT. IT REMAINS ME OF A STORY OF JOHN F. KENNEDY.. HE WANTED TO RUN FOR VICE PRESIDENT SIX YEARS BEFORE HIS SUCCESSFUL CAMPAIGN IN 1956. HOWEVER HIS FATHER DISCOURAGED HIM, STATING THAT HE NEEDED TO LEARN HOW TO SPEAK FIRS. KENNEDY ENROLLED IN THE BOSTON ORATORICAL SCHOOL. SUBSEQUENTLY, HE WAS KNOWN AS THE MOST ARTICULATE PRESIDENT.THANKS RAKKI FOR REFERRL
