Hi Friends,
Sharing with you the reviews Symantec Corporation, done by an employee, about work culture, growth prospect and salary.
A senior software engineer wrote:
What I like about Symantec Corporation:
"There is nothing left worth liking in this company now.
Any traces of the good old Veritas days are gone. You have to work in a startup mode, which means you, as an engineer, would have to do everything ranging from product management, team management and coding too. Its good for those who want to be a manager and get paid really well and don't want to do work, or stay home under the pretex of "Work from home"."
What I don't like about Symantec Corporation:
"Only the management gets paid well. Not the Engineers.
All travel benefits too are mostly for management, they will go to the US for 1 day management offsite, but there is no travel budget for engineers who file patents are are supposed to be awarded the way of an annual patents awards dinner in the US. No perdiem/broadband reimbursement too, so you practically pay for working for this company. Stocks and stock price are a joke."
