Hello friends...

I hope you all are aware of the controversy of the FAKE IPL PLAYER going around in internet. Entertaining insights provided by a non-player with the focus being on movie stars, shagging girls, going to a place called the Opium Bar, and team politics rather on the matches themselves.

While the cricket world is buzzing in the speculation of what the Fake IPL player will reveal next (if you still haven't read about it, go to the fakeiplplayer's blog or read what The Guardian has to say about the story), there is an anonymous comment that the Fake IPL Player may have been caught and being sent back to India.

Despite the fact it’s been up and running for less than a week this blog is all over the place. All the bigger blogs are covering it, the Times of London has given it a plug and ESPN Cricinfo is studiously ignoring it.

As the latest post came into the blog, there is a comment saying

Sorry! Guys The Team Caught me!

I am sorry to have hurt all the team players by calling them by names. I am also truly sorry for weaving imaginative stories about a good team.

By the time you read this i am on my way back to India."

Let me gather some more interesting snippets about the controversy and I will update you all as soon as possible.

Fake IPL Player will hog all the limelight in this tourney of IPL2 season, that is, as long as Knightriders stay in the tournament. Man, the writing style reminds me of the catty, bitchy style of Sobha De or of that filmy mags. I'm regularly tuned into his blog, it gives us an insight into the dirty, actions going on in the cricketing world.

Thanks Himanshu. Yes I did read it and did not attach much importance to it because of the nature of the blog and as rightly pointed out by Ramdas, the id!! But yes this is the trivia and fun element of IPL that will keep its flag flying high. Any negative / positive publicity that IPL gets will always give huge top of the mind recall for IPL as the most happening event globally!! So by default IPL still comes out a winner!!

It seems, the controversy are never going to dry out from the camp of Kolkata Knight Riders. First it was the multi captain theory, dropping the Kolkata, and then suggesting Gavaskar to buy his own team have already circulated bedroom gossip.

Haha....now, to make the matters worse, an anonymous blogger who claimed himself a Knight Riders player is sure turning Shahrukh’s dream into nightmares.....

There is a difference between dictatorship and democracy. Whatever it might be , the system is bad but no we are not under a rule and no one is ordering us. They are corrupt but they are not dictators...
These are two different issues. There is no point in mixing them up. They might not be willing to remove corruption but the case of temple treasure has nothing to with it.
Yes there is no magic wand but does that mean we should stop working? We need to do something and even small steps will help in long run. It might take long but our aim should be to end it. Thank you Sir for a nice post.
