Hi, in my opinion, the very first thing that you need to
determine who your customers are where to find them. Next, you need to
understand the best way to acquire the customer either through pull strategy
(attracting the customers for your services) or Push Strategy (Pushing them and
convincing them for your product/services). Pull strategy is often adapted to acquire
B2B clients where a project net worth is very high. If you wish to pull your
customers, you need to give them a very compelling reason to be interested in
your services and post you an inquiry. This does not mean that you lower the
selling price of your product/service, its more about hitting the right spot
and identifying what your client is precisely looking for. Converting this type
of lead is often easier than the push strategy as prospect client already knows
what to expect from you.
Lead can be generated through following medium:
- Google
Adword campaigns
- Banner
advertisements on websites that complement service offered by you
- E-mail
marketing / Database marketing
- Magazine/Newspaper
adverts
- Classified
The above leads your prospect either to give you a call or
visit your website and post an inquiry through a contact form.
The critical aspect in the pull strategy is effective
follow-up with the client. If you fail to follow-up properly than you are probably
missing the opportunity and increasing the cost of customer acquisition.
