Recently i was reading a book on Neuromarketing by Martin Lindstrom..N that actually made me think...
Does Brand Placement in movies effective ?
In recent times, we have so many brands being used in movies...How many times do we remember about it...
Just because a 30s slot is expensive , companies are now shifting towards movies..bt does it work everytime...No not really..8 out of 10 times it fails..
Only when the movie is hit, it would have some impact..bt that also is a big question mark in the entertainment industry..Emotional attachment of the brand with the consumer is what matters the most...
Subconscious decisions are more stronger as compared to conscious..the battle between ATL & BTL will never end...New products come n disappear..We keep n researching but never get a solution...
Brands connect well in movies provided they are a part of it..They cant be pushed...They cant b forced in the minds of the consumer..We still remember about Krishh or 3 idiots..
It would be nice if people could share their thoughts too...
