While the news channels are busy streaming and re-streaming Osama Bin Laden's death, While they are busy showing Dada's comeback and all about IPL there are people who want to know about this man.

Dorjee Khandu is still missing. The single engine four-seater Pawan Hans helicopter with Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Khandu and four others on board went missing soon after taking off from Tawang on April 30, 2011.

His body has been identified by the family members but the other bodies are too damaged to be identified.

Is their any discrimination in media that they show only certain types of news? Why!!

Thanks sujatha 4 reference.
May CM's soul rest in peace.
This news is of vital information and can be drilled down the matter.Though its not that fancy as others but to India it should be in top 5 news.
News Channels could raise the issue of such a missing ofbig head.Who is responsible for the matter.Real stories could have been brought out at that stage only when CM were missing. But nobody raised the flag.

History is getting repeated! After YSR, Khandu is the victim of circumstances! If you get to the truth, you would find many disturbing trends!

A mass competetion is there among the tv channels to raise their television rating points. This is the criterion which will add bucks to their revenue. So usually there is a race to showcase the most popular news titles. Almost all the major channels in india shown the royal wedding of 'William and Kate' LIVE, does that make any sense?. Ok, the media shound take care all kind of news but not as a business. They should leave the prioritization of the news to the public.

The problem may not be with the helicopters but with the chief ministers and other politicians using them. They order the pilots to keep flying to different places without giving adequate time for the maintenance of the helicopters. And whatever little time is alloted, much of it is wasted by the staff (who cares when there is nobody to oversee their work or audit the maintenance logs).

And as for the press covering only certain events, is it because they think that only these events will be read by the public? And is the public responsible for liking only such events (atleast they are giving such indications to the press).

POLICE IS UNABLE TO TRACE IT BECAUSE OF THEY ARE GENERALLY INTRESTED IN THEIR INTREST . THAT IS THE GAIN THEY COULD GET . ANY WAY AT LAST TODAY THE BODY IS FOUND AND THINGS ARE OVER.
Nobody could trace his body for almost 3 days???? what a shame on Indian politics and intelligence, Chine is also near to AP , what will happen if they will spy????????????

Media will be getting more money only thru IPL. Almost all the medias are not taking responsibility to spread the news. It is our fate and almost most of the medias are owned by Politicians nowadays.

Yes I fully agree with you that media is not only irresponsible but prejudiced and neglectinmg the news which is not sensesnal. similarly it disriminates between affuent and common people, indians and amerikans. They are only making money out of this news bussiness.

According my knowleg center has negleted Arunachal Pradesh. while CM is missing no an
y broadcast about him nor a high level minister visit
A sad demise for a person of the stature of a Chief Minister. Nobody could trace his body for almost 3 days. In a similar situation, the then Chief Minster of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy, a popular Congress leader lost his lives. It seems the Helicopters are killing the Chief Ministers. The media busy airing the popular news leaving the relevant news aside. Its sad state of affairs.

This is beyond our understanding & imagination .
Media should be sensible & responsible, but nowadays there is an unseen competition between these channels for showing the same news & showing it again & again.
May his soul will rest in peace.
