Elisabeth Murdoch people sometimes call her Media Entrepreneur and sometimes also as Media Nepot.
The story started in the middle of a teleision show "American Idol" when out of excitement she directed to buy Television to her parents there was unusal answer to that demand. It stated that she must buy the show first.
There comes the beginning of the story.
In 2000, Ms. Murdoch left her father’s business at British Sky Broadcasting, where she had been managing director of Sky Networks, to introduce Shine
Her strength lies in the fact about her acume to know what television viewers want to watch, as well as her ability to adapt different formats to different audiences, whether they be in America, England or elsewhere.
Sony helped finance Ms. Murdoch’s acquisitions, having recently raised its stake to 20 percent from 14 percent.
Elisabeth now thinks of the convergence of TV and the Internet. 10 years ago she has a different view but now it has been changed.
The Internet is succeeding because it is adding real value to people’s lives. Real value in transactions. Already e-commerce is gearing up to give retailers a run for their money. It’s incredibly effective for communication and the sharing of knowledge
But now I think that with the convergence of broadband and TV, Murdoch is scheming and dreaming up a digital-offerings storm by now.
May be who knows tommorrow we could be friends with Murdoch at Facebook.
