Digging out of enormously huge quantity of highly dense minerals from the crust of Earth from one place and physically shifting it to distant location causing unbalance in the overall equilibrium, could change its current axis of rotation, change force of attraction between earth and other planets and its satellites and its current orbits around the Sun.

By excessive, drawing out of natural gas and crude oil that burn and keep the earth's inner area hot to prevent freezing of the upper crust, the area vacated will be filled with water which will eventually become ice and will not only cause the earth to cool down, but also reduce the mass of earth.  The hollowness created can cause the upper crust to cave in and cause havoc in the ecology.

Burning out of huge quantity of gas and oil in the surface will change the nature of the air we breath and water we drink on which depend the life of everything in earth. These in the long run will be detrimental to existence of life in Earth in the current form.

The irony is that the mankind does not take these seriously knowing fully well there is no other place like this planet anywhere in the whole universe; as far as we know at present. More harm has been caused to this beautiful planet mindlessly by everone in the past century than what our ancestors did over many millenniums.

I am sure, everyone in this forum know all these and that I wrote nothing new here and merely expressing our worries and concerns in such forums are not going to change anything.  Nevertheless, I would like to know your views on such pressing issues threatening our immediate next generation in comaparison with what the world is worried about things of much less significance everrywhere, and more so in our own country.

I just wrote this down, fed up watching the TV and seeing the people who matters most and the media always engaged in dirty politics with their never ending mud slinging, Courts, CBI, Womanising by those supposed to be mentors, Honor killing, different groups pitting one religion against the other, about region based on languages, the quarell about river water sharing, the unfortunate situation we have with our close neighbour country etc.
Everyone is shedding crocodile teras about the poor and the down trodden, the injustice being done to women and children, lack of infrastructure, condition of our cities and villages, inumerous rail accidents due to lack of minimum safety and security arrangements, the unwarranted bandhs and hartals and extensive damage to public property and monpower loss, the bootlegging, hording and profiteering by middlemen, wastage of food gains due to inadequate storage facilities, poor water management causing flood in one state while draught in other etc. without even trying to do anything worthwhile on all these.
Worse than jungle laws prevails in Legislatives and Law making bodies that are supposed to take care of issues related to the unfortunate ones who elected them.

Very wisely, the field is already set for another, exiting session, which we are destined to watch and laugh or cry or pull your hair or whatever you like.

What I mean by the insight is that we have even bigger things to worry as our mere existence itself is under threat by our mindless activities. and therefore, it is time the governments, the people that govern them take serious action to revert these.
