With a fleet of Financial Planners & Advisors, apart from direct contact & knowledge by the Clients with Financial Companies, it’s very essential to work Smarter, so that your existing Clients remain with you and you get the inflow of new ones

 

Let’s see if we can revive few Smart moves:

 

  • We often do a poor job in educating the client, which is totally within our control.
  • Networking is a very powerful and extraordinary business development tool
  • Very few people are doing an excellent job of consistently asking for referrals, references, testimonials and other benefits from existing buyers and contacts. How much business are you losing by not doing this VERY well?
  • Our approaches should be about success, not perfection. Don't fall into the trap of "not being perfect enough yet". When you're 80% ready, action it! The remaining 20% will fall into place, but attempting to achieve it beforehand is expensive, dysfunctional, and not likely to be noticed by the prospect or client.
  • Do not wait for Social Proof to action a unique business initiative. Never aim doubt at yourself. Be bold. When you embark for new destinations, do not leave any of yourself safely on shore. Have the tenacity to venture into unexplored territory and own the new land for yourself

Excellent article Mr Veejay.Thanks for the referral.It is always good to be reminded of the Basics.However I would like to add one more point,Enthusiasm.Enthusiasm in everything we do will automatically make us do the tasks better and ultimately be more successful.Showing Enthusiasm in planning clients finances and educating the client helps build up a high level of trust which leads to gaining business and referrals.
