Sourcing free profiles from Naukri.com database. Today , I came across the feature of searching resumes for free in Naukri. I could not believe it. I wanted to check if it is true or not. I tried calling Naukri call centre and asked them how come you give RESDEX for free ? The Customer service executive explained this feature. It was quite interesting and I got convinced .

Probably , this feature is an old one but I noticed this only today. Anyways, if you are one like me , please read this . It would be helpful for you too.

1. Go to the home page of www.naukri.com

2. On the home page right side bar , scroll down to find a Box with a heading Recruiter

3. Inside the box , you can find 3 links, click the second one which says " Search CVs for Free now"

4. Here you go for different searches and get your profile you want. So what is the catch here ? Why should Naukri.com give the database for free ? Ok , I asked the same question to the customer service executive. The reply I got was , the resumes that we find using this link are those of candidates who have opted for paid services of Naukri.com and these profiles are available free for Recruiters. So guys , how is it ? Does it make sense ? You may not get the entire database of Resdex , but then you will access those profiles of candidates who have availed RESUME services and other paid services of Naukri.com. Guruprasad, this is a very very old feature from Naukri.com I know this feature for past 14yrs now :)

Free search haven't cream from candidates, anyway thanks for this known information, Manish as I already experienced it.
