Fire in TooStep Domlur

It was almost midnight when i decided to pause watching Mr. Brooks and was about to sleep. A friend-roommate of mine was talking to his fiancee over phone from the balcony. He seem to have electric sparks in the pole next to him and eventually fire in the neighboring building.

My other room mate Srinivasan woke up the neighborhood and asked us to come with a strategy. i called the Emergency services 101 and some sleepy operator didn´t bother. Then i called 100 where a lady picked the call and picked the details. Soon Cops called me back to confirm and asked me for the directions; they found it easy to reach here because of the Landmark i mentioned was Indane Gas Distributor. The Mayohall fire brigades called me twice to know the gravity of the situation. I didn´t like the calls from Prajavaani and local news channels. 

My friend who woke up the neighborhood figured that nobody is checking on the building. It seems people told him that they know only Hindi and cannot communicate with localites. He told me that he woke up the Security in the building who has not yet figured that building is on fire. I got a call from the Fire Brigade again to assist them to reach the place and i escorted them from Shanti Sagar junction.

Fire Brigade has done excellent job, i saw them hardworking. Of course cops were hardly working. I know its dangerous to play with short circuit for we cannot use water instead we need insulators. I don´t know if somebody tried poring water. There are some politicians living in the neighborhood who didn´t do anything in the entire process. They were just watching the play and showed up well dressed during the final press addressing. We, three of us denied to go there because it will be too embarrassing to show up in local news channels like TV9, Kasthoori etc.,

I´m sorry for the loss. I saw a person answering the questions inside the Fire Brigade Truck Cabin who seems like the boss of the company or so, felt sorry for the loss, may be they can claim insurance but definitely daily life is affected for employees if any. I checked the building in the morning and saw the broken locker. Didn´t see anything else.
