Full Tie V/S Part Time
MBAs are a dime a dozen these days.
The value of education comes from first total effort + engaging faculty + networking.
According to me it hardly matters whether you do your MBA full time or Part time its just the matter of how much you have learned from the course.
Sometimes people also take MBA as part time due to the affiliation of the universities. To do part time its definitely a challenge because it is very difficult to keep a balance between the two.
Part time programs also give you the benefit of applying your learning almost immediately -- more than once I would use a concept discussed the night before the very next day in class.
During the whole course students become more mature and professional. They develop a network of work.
Some advantages to full-time is that you can get more involved in clubs, and devote time to networking events, VC and other competitions, informational interviews, and developing relationships with classmates. The size of a program can also impact the kind of opportunities you have to stand out and make a name for yourself.
Another potential issue is that many recruiters sometimes exclude or limit part-time MBA's from their recruitment process. There are companies which give more credit to full time MBA's. The reason could be the fact that there you get the actual platform to interact with people and learn the practicality.
