Character doesn't depend on our efforts alone. Character is the conclusion of life. Normally People are living with more than one character. But we can build up our character ourselves...

Yes apart from constant persistence  it is Strong Character established thro a thousand stumbles will play important role in one's life. Such kind of people who will not succumb to ploy or pressure for wrong doings. See how our respected Generals & Sr. Bureaucrats loose their respect from the society which they earned throughout their career/service by succumbing to the ploy in recent Adarsh Society Scam.

A recent newspaper report has revealed that a Sr..bureaucrat has refused to add his Boss's name in the allot-tee list,illegally, against the risk of getting bad remark on his confidential report, as threatened by his Boss. But see his strong Character has saved himself as well as his Boss from the controversy followed by legal action & public embarrassment. He must have thanked his god & his Jr. throughout his life. 

Again a small officer has recorded No action taken report recomm by former CM in official dairy has resulted in capital punishment to him/state as well to his party's image.
