When we wish someone happy birthday we say have a blast. Perhaps we wont like to say this from now.

It is still not clear that who is reaponsible for the terror attacks. One possibility that is seen is that it can be the work of Lashkar-e-toiba (LeT) . The only gunman of this group Kasab was held by mumbai police. July 13 is said to 24th birthday of this gunman. Can you believe he is just 24 year old, an age when people think of a settled life and wonderful career.

Kasab, under CCTV camera surveillance, is guarded by at least 50 commandos.

He was found guilty of 80 offences, including waging war against the nation, which is punishable with the death penalty.

But still he is alive which is shameful.

There is no clear connection between Kasab's birthday and the attacks keep on happening so there is no point in saying that this is because it was his birthday of anything. All we need to do is to fight this. But how??

America dint have any terrorist attack after the last decade one, There was no laxity. we mix everything with vote politics. Here an impression is growing that under the garb of idealism anybody can say anything. If rejeev killers are not to be hanged we have an assembly which passes the resolution, we have ngos and intellectuals? fighting against capital punishment. So are there people for Afsal guru. So crime can go unpunished. so least respect for the law. This nation has such people who can find reason for bad and good deeds.
i completely support sanjaya bharadwaj. our country has to really feel shame for protecting terrorism by not hanging the kasab cruel murderer. more than 25 crores has been spended for his protection. who will answer this and who is responsible. I think it is the people. every person who voted and supported this negligent, irresponsible govt. has to think twice.

Actually its a sign of development... Its kinda prison reform initiated by Ms. Bedi... wherein prisoners are treated with respect and its a sign of economic growth. The standards of prisons are getting well day by day.. It is sign of a progress, when soon India can boast of being a developing to a Developed Nation.

As a birthday present to Kasab, we should transfer him from the present high security prison where we are spending around 50 Lakhs per day, to an ordinary, less secure prison. Maybe, he will not last a few days, and all our problems will be (temporarily) solved.
That may make the Paks take ownership of Kasab and state that his killing was engineered by us reducing his level of security

Thanks for referral Ms. Neelima Pandey,
At this stage, we can not attribute it to Kaseb. May be ,as you perceive, his followers involved in these kind of atrocities to get relief for Kaseb & also paved a way for his successor. But the issue is not clear.
There are scores of other reasons may be there that has been developed internally say, such as Market rivalry, possession of territory by gangs, etc & also internationally, the retrenchment of $800 million package to PAK, Withdrawal of force from Afghan to fight terrorism, Annihilation of Obama & the fact that it harbored him for long, makes World Forces fighting against Terrorism are tending to move close to India. May be , this an attempt to tarnish that approach.

No terrorist should be given death penalty. They should be publicly tortured to get terrorised and beg for death. Death should not be a escape route from all such deeds. Death is gate-way for those who live like humans/animals/plants, for others it should be a word not found in dictionary. I think, if they are not killed by any law of the land, they will live longer because even God may not accept them. Let the world unite curb terrorists till terrorism vanishes from the genes of all human races.

It is right time to hang Kasab. Unfortunately in India every thing is covered with red tape and it applies here too.

If Kasb is not hanged then the people responsible to hang Kasab should be hanged first.

The external and internal security should be beefed up immediately. Steps should be taken to completely seal the borders and increase the patrolling in our western coast which has become the gateway for terrorists from Pakistan of late.

The internal security mechanism should start to work and weed out the sleeper cells of the terrorists. No mercy should be shown. Indulge in encounters to eliminate the sleeping cells.

We can control this menace of fundamentalist terrorism only with strong action. Act before the disease spreads further.

TOLERANCE does not mean we, Indians, tolerate everything! Our politicians are good for post-mortem! The largest democracy of the world is a joke! We have not learnt any lesson from earlier Mumbai attack when the country was in siege by a handful of 7-8 persons!

Indian Mujahiddin is said to have claimed the responsibility. Simi, Lashkar-e-toiba and ISI said to have floated this terrorist outfit during 2008. I wonder why the Govt. could not able to implement the judgements of the courts. Dirty political calculations. Terrorists like Afzal Guru and Ksab shall not be given the opportunity to file Clemency petitions. They have to be hanged forthwith. People responsible and the people harboring them shall be dealt with iron hand. Govt. seems to be tiger on paper and confines itself to issue strong statements and failed to act tough.

Well.. i think that's the only way left now.
Indians should follow, what their govt. does. So instead of posing him as a terrorist, he must be given full "respect". Celebrating his b'day is a good idea. This is what our govt teaches us actually . Don't think about nation... just think about how something even terrorists can be used to meet one's selfish ends ( making next govt.., earning money etc) !
