It is futile to think that I can "harness a Work-Life balance" when, such as I am, I lack harmony even with(in) myself. And the lack of harmony has its root in my inability to be present and attentive to my condition in the moment...any moment...every moment...of my existence. And I cannot awaken to this condition, much less begin to know who I am really unless I have "ears to hear and eyes to see". And such faculties, though available to me, will go unrecognized until I sense deeply that something is very wrong with "the way things are" and develop a wish for "something more"...for something higher and finer in my life.

dear anand, thx for bringing up this very relevant issue. Many of us don't just “do” a job - we “become” our job !! the responsibility first lies with the employee himself - the other peripherals like company, employer and society can help. it's time some of us did some serious listening to ourselves: if the only conversation one can make is about what one does for a living, it’s time for some serious introspection. sadly, with due respects santosh, there is no "one quick fix solution" that fits all. each one of us must find answers within our unique individual situations. and if you say "really awaited" - i'd say await no longer - no solutions coming up - and this is not being pessimistic - we all ourselves are the solutions and you must begin by finding yours instead of waiting. regards

It looks quiet theoretical. But, are you really mentally depressed & overburdened with works? It may reflect that we people have not learned the job properly & routine d your chore amply enough to keep things going well.Work for money to live in & lead a contented life.

Thanks for supplementary information.
