Has anyone noticed the marketing strategy opted by Team Anna Hazare?

Team IAC has made use of every opportunity to market their slogan. Social Media and SEO were one among those powerful tools used by team IAC for publicity and it could see the result within few days. The global Alexa rank for the website (http://www.indiaagainstcorruption.org/) is 25,580 and Indian Rank is 714. This site was hosted on 17th November, 2010.  In such a short span of time, if the site ranking could reach a rank of 25,580, the amount of SEO and SMM done would be to great extend. As Mr. Muralidharan has told, a case study can be prepared based on this website to show how powerful SEO and SMM are in todays world. When we take Anna Hazare's example, people would find it easy to relate to the topic too. Thanks for bringing such a topic into notice Ms. Anna George.

@Muralidharan - I think you are right. This can be used as a case study to show how effectively social media/SEO can be used to market one's objective and how fast could they achieve their goal.

I doubt that team of Anna must have spent huge amount in order to draw continuous media capture.
Then Anna goes to a Reality show like any cheap publicity stunt.
Anna visits schools and teaches students corruption of which the child mind was still unaware he implants that idea.
Anna, just like a trashed and non civilized person barks with his counterpart Kejriwal against everything that too in public  over media to draw more attention.
Everyday he has new anarchist thought just to keep the fools following entertained.

Truly, a 12-member team of Anna's IAC used IT and social media to gyrate this movement.  This movement will be written in the annals of post-independent history.  This team used every method to keep the eyeballs of the world set on this movement.  Its really a wonderful achievement.  This model can be picked up by Institutions who teach visual media, internet and social media in their lesson plans as a case study to show how this really works in real time!
