How can I be Brand from Local & Small Business Unit Customers are being more educated day by day; just five to ten years ago, people used to use Yellow Pages and local classifieds to choose up local businesses vendor but now they use internet or Google to get proper information. Information about product features, prices and reputation and creditability of prospective vendors. Internet has been part of every family these days like television sets were five years back. These days, Internet is first place to go for any information; in short, Internet may be called as biggest marketplace. This is why, every business unit should have website to present itself; a business without a website is like a man who is homeless in this competitive era. Website not only interfaces between business and prospects while website actually help you to increase your profitability. Now the question comes up - How? Business website reduces - Virtual Infrastructure Cost, Reduce sales force cost, reduces business promotion, reduces business overheads per capita, increase mass coverage, enhance market territory and may improve turnover. I have website but don’t have traffic Now, I have website but its neither showing in Google Search results nor having internet traffic. I could not receive single goal conversion in past 3 months than what is the use of website for me. To have a website is not enough for any business until it don’t have internet traffic and coming in Google Search result. If your domain age is less than 5 -6 months than always recommended to go with “Google Indexing” first; first make your website (index page and inner pages) indexed in search engines specially in Google. Approaches are manual directory submissions, BookMarking, Article Submissions, Online Press Release, etc; by these activities, you will be indexed in various search engines and will start to receive direct as well as referral traffic at your website. Alexa ranking and domain popularity will increase. If you still not satisfy with amount of traffic or you need more traffic and placement at search engine results than its time to play big with Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Good SEO will provide you placement in search engine results with your key words or key phrases and you will start to get more traffic and goal conversion. Not every business needs a website. If you trade nationally or internationally, then it’s pretty clear that your business needs a website. But if your customer base is local, do you need a website? If you get all the customers you can handle from advertising in local media, maybe you don’t. When it comes to building and maintaining relationships with clients and prospects, a business may not need a website when there's Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Social media can really be far more impactful than a traditional corporate website to engage people on an ongoing basis. It's great for regular conversation and mindshare. Going without a website is a way for the startup to keep operations lean until it becomes more established, at which point they may consider adding a website. Using a tool such as Twitter and/or a landing page allows a company to create a "quick and dirty" online presence for specific purposes such as special offers, events and product launches. And it provides a platform for a company to test a marketing message before full-scale rollout. Restaurants and bars can post a special on Facebook or Twitter to drive foot traffic that day. Sole proprietorships and very small companies, from yoga instructors to contractors, can use landing pages, LinkedIn and Facebook to create a simple yet functional online presence. The right combination of tools and tactics can deliver an online presence that in many respects rivals what a website can provide.

Local interests need to governed purely through most popular local available media. Quantitative ground visiversallybility and some innovative promotions activated on ground would add the necessary impact to support and induce buying.

Indulging in websites would mean a closer look at the applications of the product that the brand represents. Would presence on the digital media spur sales universally??? Would it make sense in terms of costs of production, logistics and distribution?? Going digital would mean a strong infrastructure for supply and an equally strong manufacturing base which translates into huge investments. Not really advisable for local sales!!
