someone sent me this - here goes:-
You’ve know that you’ve been in the “corporate world” far too long when……..
1. You ask the waiter what are the restaurant’s "core competencies".
2. You decide to re-organise your family into a “team-based organization.”
3. You refer to dating as “test marketing”.
4. You can actually spell “paradigm.”
5. Your Valentine’s Day cards have "bullet" points.
6. You celebrate your wedding anniversary by conducting a "performance review".
7. You never have problems in your life, just “issues” and “improvement opportunities.”
8. You explain to your bank manager that you prefer to think of yourself as “ highly leveraged” as opposed to “badly in debt.”
9. You talk to the waiter about "process flow" when dinner arrives late.
10. You give "constructive feedback" to your dog.

a manager is concerned with what is happening. the leader is concerned with what is happening when "nothing" is happening. |
