How to increase sales within same footfalls

In the timewhen footfalls are lower then expected. I want you all to focus on sellingskills and service standards then any other aspect. How you can achieve morewith same footfalls in the key to achieve maximum sales. You may not increasefootfalls but can increase sales with same footfalls by adhering to below givenpoints:

  1. Sale higher price point product to the customer.
  2. focus of selling additional garment ( Coordinate sales)
  3. Sell an accessory per 3 bills.
  4. Don’t follow customer but assist him buying.
  5. Service customer properly; try to understand his need then following him-which is a regular case for most of the brand sales person.
  6. Read carefully a simple example given below..

Growth of

21%

WITH SAME FOOTFALLS

In theabove case I have taken sales of one Store sales, which is getting an avg of 50footfalls on a daily basis. Avg bill value considered is Rs. 1000/- . The challengeis to increase your conversion and avg bill value by 10% only. You can see the incrementalsales achieved is  21% more than regular.

As a retailstore you don’t have influence over footfalls but you can achieve additional21% just by team efforts and sharp focus.

So forstore manager- please stop complaining about footfalls and start pushing.
