I am the Faces of you, I am FEAR

I am the faces of you, written by Dr. Charles Whitfield, is a poem, which reminds me of the faces of fear. It describes the mask's we all wear to keep us safe and at times hidden from the truth. The truth that we are powerful beyond measure.

This poem symbolizes the ego, and reminds me of our ego's main purpose of keeping us safe, and protected. Protecting our vulnerability.

This poem reminds me of the Debbie Ford, and the Shadow work. It reminds me of our own inner child, and how accepting these hidden aspects of our own personality, allows us to live the truth, and makes it possible for us to no longer need to be triggered by them in others. When someone in your life upsets you, or triggers you, to the point where you react in such a way as to lash out, in truth you've uncovered one of your own traits, that you have yet to accept and heal in our own self.

This is how your ego believes it is keeping you safe. Consciously accepting the the role of our ego, allows us to consciously accept our shadow, knowing that the real being aware, because we believe that if people knew the real person behind the masks, is perfect and exactly the way their own stories intended them to be. We are good enough, smart enough, worthy and deserving of being exactly who we are meant to be.Are you willing to accept yourself, because continuing to hide behind your masks, is what continues to keep you small and continues to feed your ego. Free yourself and trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. Allow yourself the opportunity to look at your story differently and show the world what hides behind the mask.

See your masks as a way you kept yourself safe and have faith that you no longer need to feel afraid.

Your past does not need to determine your future. Accept in all ways with love all of your experiences.

Inner peace is waiting for you, as you begin to accept yourself, so remove your masks and show your self to others.

Acknowledge your deepest fears, and speak them out load; Your Vulnerability is Your Gift to Others. Your vulnerability shows others how to do the same, for themselves.
