Google today has unveiled the much awaited Android 2.2 OS at the I/O 2010 conference held in San Francisco. Since this release has brought lots of new features to Android platform, we decided to put it up against the upcoming iPhone OS 4.0 and Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 to see which one comes out on top.

The result as you can see, is as follows. For some reason, Android 2.2 for me edges out both iPhone OS 4 and Windows Phone 7. Though both iPhone OS 4 and WP7 are still in Beta stages and will probably add more features before they are released.

I think after seeing this table you will have a fair idea of which smartphone is better to opt for.....Hope this helps you all out there in understanding the smartphone before you buy one :)
