Presenting: Super diversed workforce!!!

The subject should be rather in form of a statement. A bold statement.

Yes!! Yes!! When you get into the office you find people from all age group. The average age of working population is around 36 which makes it clear that people between age group 18 to 60 all are working.

There are call centers where youth is seen even the school students to retired professionals earn there pocket money here. Then there is a quite serious about the career age group, 23-30, they work hard to get promotions ,to survive and to get other incentives because they are at the peak of their potentials. Now comes the bosses who might have or might have not crossed the wrong side of 30. they are the boss and they know what they want.

In society where various age groups are working there can be clash of ideas between gen X, gen Y and upcoming gen Z. Multi-generations at work can be productive and at times it may lead to mind war. The X generation might believe in there old principles while Y generation may want revolution and Z generation something even more than that. We should not forget about the W generation at the top might have totally old methods to be followed.

I have a little poem here to demonstrate this fact.

 

My grand father started a little firm with lot of efforts,

My dad grew up seeing him and studying the records,

He knew the growth was good but he said he can make better,

He gave his own input it did bore fruits latter,

But grand pa oldie said his principles had been harmed,

He said this changed so fast and he was not even alarmed;

Daddy cool though didn’t listen to him at all,

He said the previous methods were old which could lead to fall;

To what he said my grandpa protested but dad stood there tall,

I was next I knew that and I had my plans to install,

When dad saw how I changed his things he knew it all by then,

He knew with every generation ideas change ,he changed few things which will be changed again!!

 

But this is when only one generation at a time works. When people from all the generations work together there is a need of co-ordination. It calls for understanding and well some tolerance. It might be tricky but we have already accustomed ourselves to it. Our work places are at peace with this clash and there seems no sign of world war of ideas here. Workspaces are for sure dealing with a blend of various generations but still its going strong and better than what it was a decade back.
