KCR achieved in 11 days what he could not in eight years

It all depends on what we call as achievement. I agree it's difficult to fast for 11 days for a person who lives in the best palace of the state built in an under developed region. 

The result of achievement is when the much publicised, (but not quantified) development reaches the down trodden masses.

Initially the division of states was on the basis of language. Now the division is taking place based on accent ! Division should be done, if there is a predefined development plan for the region is not getting implemented due to the state being a single large one. 

The amount of damage that took place in the last one month is massive. To recover from this itself would take a lot of time before these leaders can start working on the so called development projects for the region after becoming a seperate state.

Unfortunately in the name of self respect, we ourselves are damaging our self respect by our own silly acts. I am not sure, whoever wants seperate state(s), want a clean good state or they want a state that is fully damaged on their own.
We talk about peacefull Gandhian methods, but release provoking statements like whole state will become a fire ball etc. Is in't it deliberately telling we will resort to violence and get ready? Is this legally allowed to make such thretening statements? What happened to our strong law enforcement machinery that parade during republic days and independence days?
Why no one controls such people. When One loves their own mother land, they should make sure that it is protected all the more and take a clean state.

hi all,after long time,i'm back in toostep.eventhough battle for Telangana ia as old as 5 decades,one should think whether situation today is called for it!!.decentralisation will not work every where.This act by so called supporters is nothing but to taste power and not in the interest of any kind of development.there is a simple question to test KCR i.e.being a politician by himself and head of a national/regional political party,what is preventing him from developing telangana region or fulfilling the so called dreams of those people in that area?

The basis which justifies separation is not clear. Language, culture, everything is the same for Andhra Pradesh. What is the basis of agitation. If a certain region feels, it's development is not taking place, a separate state is not at all the solution. The size of the state, in view of manageability of state administration should be the only criteria of formation of states.
We have seen the example of creation of jharkhand, and how much, it has helped in development.
Tomorrow, after creation of Telangana, 2-3 districts feel, their development is not taking place and they will start agitation and fasting. Where do we go & stop it. With this rate, each and every district will ask for statehood.
It is sheer misfortune, that, there are Telangana supporters, Bundelkhand supporters, Vidarbha supporters, but no India supporters.

Lets hope for the best. I am not in favor of small small states in India as it add extra burden on the tax payers. More politicians, more IAS officers, more corruptions, more hate activities, very less benifits to common people. I will fight for development of area and not for separation. Jharkhand was separated from Bihar and Madhu Koda was able to make Rs 4000 crore in just two years. 

These oppotunistics politicians are first for themselves and then for their people and if anything is left then comes the common people.

It is not just black mailing, it is the struggle for last 50 years. At last the Telangana state has been announced. Why these Andhra and Rayalaseema political leaders have a problem with Telangana state hood?. What they are loosing with Telenanga state? These are million dollar questions. They want to enjoy the Telangana resources for every. 

Only few political leaders are making the political drama after Telangana declaration.

Telangana people wants self governance and self respect. This is the right of Telangana people. Telangana people respect all the people who are living in Hyderabad and other Telangana district as well.

let's hope Telegana will be governed well. it will be seen as developed area in the coming years.
there r many  who fear that formation of smaller states wud mean more stress on regionalism leading to disintegration (some what like during the colonial era.). but there are two issues in this, one, if states are being formed for better governance and development then it should be allowed. two, geo polotical (economic) realities are different today. for security, growth and development reasons, they need to be part of the indian union. In the world & national stage it will helps them being a Indian.

Fasting to force your demands, is indirectly a black mailing tactic. For many years, this TRS and it's leaders could not convince the Centre based on their stand. Ultimately, they succeded with such a black mail.
Creating a separate state, is a decision based on the manageability of state, admnistrative constraints faced etc. The religion or language based issues should not be a reason for separation. The whims and opportunistic attitude of the short-sighted leaders should be strictly controlled in such issues. Becoz, creating a state adds a lot on the national expenditure.
Some years back, Jharhand was carved out of Bihar. As a result, instead of one, we got two Bihars. Rest everything remains same.  

Yes I agree with Jay & Ujjwal here, that if everybody starts to demand in the similar manner, then Government has no option but then to oblige, but then in this case there was a history of how the people and the whole region was neglected and some serious thoughts were put in before things going out of control in the whole region.  

If all leaders of India start fasting with their own demands will the Central Government fulfill them..If Telangana was to be made a separate state it should have been done based on clear facts and if it is good for one and all...This way our country will be further more divided...

I do not know for sure it's the end or a new beginning, where almost all parts of our country are grappling with an issue or other.

Lets see from where we hear a new agitation & hence what's center's reaction!
