This is "food for thought" for every Indian

Must Read ! Very Powerfully Worded. Bravo - Prakash Bajaj, Editor of Times of India.

LETTER OF THE EDITOR OF "THE TIMES OF INDIA"  TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA

Dear Mr. Prime minister,

I am a typical mouse from Mumbai. In the local train compartment which has capacity of 100 persons, I travel with 500 more mice.  Mouse at least squeaks,  but we don't even do that.

Today I heard your speech, in which you said, 'NO BODY WOULD BE SPARED'.  I would like to remind you that fourteen years have passed since serial bomb blasts in Mumbai took place.  Dawood was the main conspirator.  Till today he is not caught.  All our Bollywood actors, our builders, our Gutka king keep meeting him, but your Government can not catch him. Reason is simple;  all your ministers are hand in glove with him. If any attempt is made to catch him, everybody will be exposed. Your statement 'NOBODY WOULD BE SPARED' is nothing but a cruel joke on these unfortunate people of India.
Enough is enough.   As such, after seeing terrorist attack carried out by about a dozen young boys,  I realize that if same thing continues, days are not far away when terrorists will attack by air, destroy our nuclear reactors and there will be one more Hiroshima.
We the people are left with only one mantra. Womb to Bomb to Tomb.  You promised Mumbaikar Shanghai;  what you have given us is Jalianwala Baug.
Today only your home minister resigned.  What took you so long to kick out this joker? Only reason was that he was loyal to Gandhi family.  Loyalty to Gandhi family is more important than blood of innocent people, isn't it?

I am born and brought up in Mumbai for last fifty eight years.  Believe me, corruption in Maharashtra is worse than that in Bihar.  Look at all the politicians, Sharad Pawar, Chagan Bhujbal, Narayan Rane, Bal Thackray , Gopinath Munde, Raj Thackray, Vilasrao Deshmukh  all are rolling in money.  Vilasrao Deshmukh is one of the worst Chief ministers I have seen. His only business is to increase the FSI every other day, make money and send it to Delhi, so Congress can fight next election. Now the clown has found new way and will increase FSI for fishermen, so they can build concrete houses right on sea shore.  Next time terrorists can comfortably live in those houses, enjoy the beauty of the sea and then attack  our Mumbai at their will.

Recently, I had to purchase a house in Mumbai. I met about two dozen builders. Everybody wanted about 30% in black. A common person like me knows this and with all your intelligent agency & CBI, you and your finance ministers are not aware of it. Where all the black money goes? To the underworld isn't it? Our politicians take help of these goondas to vacate people by force. I myself was victim of it. If you have time please come to me, I will tell you everything.

If this has been a land of fools, idiots,  then I would not have ever cared to write to you this letter. Just see the tragedy.  On one side we are reaching moon, people are so intelligent;  and on the other side, you politicians have converted nectar into deadly poison. I am everything Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Schedule caste, OBC, Muslim OBC, Christian Schedule caste, and Creamy Schedule caste;  only what I am not is INDIAN.   You politicians have raped every part of  Mother India by your policy of divide and rule.

Take example of our Former President Abdul Kalam. Such an intelligent person; such a fine human being. But you politician didn't even spare him and instead choose a worthless lady who had corruption charges and insignificant local polititian of Jalgaon WHO'S NAME ENTIRE COUNTRY HAD NOT HEARD BEFORE. Its simple logic your party just wanted a rubber stamp in the name of president. Imagine SHE IS SUPREME COMMANDAR OF INDIA'S THREE DEFENCE FORCES. what moral you will expect from our defence forces ? Your party along with opposition joined hands, because politicians feel they are supreme and there is no place for good person.

Dear Mr Prime minister, you are one of the most intelligent persons, a most learned person.   Just wake up, be a real SARDAR.   First and foremost, expose all selfish politicians.   Ask Swiss banks to give names of all Indian account holders. Give reins of CBI to independent agency.   Let them find wolves among us. There will be political upheaval, but that will be better than dance of death which we are witnessing every day.  Just give us ambience where we can work honestly and without fear. Let there be rule of law. Everything else will be taken care of.

Choice is yours Mr. Prime Minister.   Do you want to be lead by one person, or you want to lead the nation of 100 Crore people?

Prakash B. Bajaj

I request members to read my article "Bitter Pills for India reprieve" in this web community that I wrote many years back.
The problems in our country more complex that cannot be wished away by satyagrahas and fasts.
These are mostly inherent problems of Democracy and the unworkable and complicated Federal - State functional responsibilities mainly on Law & Order, Health & Education, Public Distribution, Sports, Vigilance, Quality control & pricing of essential commodities, prevention of hoarding and black marketing & profiteering by middle men etc., etc. Therefore, the blame for high inflation, corruption in Public organizations & Private institutions, breakdown of law & order situation etc. shall be share between the State and Central government.
The problem as I see is due to the failure to run the parliament effectively because of is time wasted in excessive politicking.
The way out is to deduct the cash equivalent of pay & perks of MP's for the duration of their absence and the time lost due their interference of house functions. Money thus recovered should be used to send these persons to UK or Australia parliament houses to learn the conduct of the MPs there.
There should be a rule that any member who do not respect the order of the chair shall be sent out of the house for the rest of the day and money deducted from him for the whole day. Also a fine should be awarded to the leader in the house of the political party to which the MP belong. This is the only way to bring some order in parliament so that it can conduct its business properly.

Forward this to prime minister until he surrenders!!! let this be a disaster for all corrupt people...If we, the real Indians unite, we can take a stand against them and make India a place for real Indians and not a place for these corrupt parasites!...
Excellent.. A moving article echoing the feelings of several crores of honest and upright people across India. My dear sir, please do not restrict yourself to Mumbai, you are one among 100 crore people struggling to make a living honestly. A person like Jaya Prakash Narayan (JP) has to come and move the people. I am looking forward to such "peoples' movement". I believe, it is not far away !!!

Good essay material..But is the PM really listening..You have taken the names of all big shots does it even matter to them what the public has to say?are we even heard? The only time we can act is during the elections..but whom do we choose of all the culprits? the best way is show our stand ! what we feel for our developed country being hidden behind a fake " developing country" because of these rascals who play in the mud..This article seems to me like fighting with the Pig in the slush..It doesn't matter to the pig if its getting dirtier by the day..So its we who need to act.The young and the sensible..there must be certain level of education to meet the politicians..when a job of clerk has certain criteria why not the job of handling a country have a basic level of education and age limitation? How many youngsters today are involved with the dirty business of politics..when we can vote after the age of 18 why not handle a country..we need experience to do the job but not to choose who does the job?We detest being puppets in the hands of these politics..Am sure your letter would have even been thrown in the garbage and recycled..but then we as proud Indians need to voice out and use Internet as a strong medium and come out and stop the "Rape" as Prakash Bajaj rightly puts it.. How much is the inflow of money? what about the fiscal deposits? there needs to be a check on everything..but who is gonna do it? where is it all running to? No point blaming the gunda rajya..Stop paying up the taxes and stand in unity to protest the white and black being distinguished..To come up with transparency..As it is the funds are not coming to our aide in times..then for what are we to increase the funds of the gunda Rajya..would anyone just donate their hard earned cash to anyone on the road? it is just that we are doing..when we think soo much to pay a poor beggar why do we pay the biggest beggars who ruin the country?

nice mr puneet . its courage ... but theres a problem .no one wud liisten to u and take action as all r in the same boat . i admire ramdev who at least has the guts to demand the money back that is stored in swiss banks lakhs of crores ?. 60% of our population have less than rs 20 to spare/spend per day . so wealth is only with 40% of our people . this is the reason of disturbances like naxalism .
no one is pure . even rahul who daringly went to naxalites during his visit to orissa is quiet now . enjoying his life.
RANJAN
and regarding defence forces .they r the most corrupt ones . i mean the officers . most even do not pay their tea bills . can u imagine this . i have proof to say this.

and as a one time measure please look into the assets of all the ex chiefs of the armed forces . i can give details of the indian air force . most of the ex-chiefs were gifted land by dlf . and please i request any agency to find out the property details of the officers (only top 10) and u will get the answer .all r corrupt .

only god can help us . not a pm or president or any politician

Well a powerful letter, but of no use to our politicians because they need to know to read the letter. The only things our politicians can read may be the numbers on the countless rupee notes that they swindle from the public

This gives a feeling that there is still hope and there is somebody who is trying.
Great piece of work. I doubt an editor of a news paper/magazine could dare to write such a letter addressing the Prime Minister of this land. If it is true I salute the editor Mr. Bajaj for taking such a bold step. The first step in a long journey is always alone, but the other follows him in the journey.

Good job done by Mr.Prakash Bajaj. Now let us see whether this letter creates some impact and Mr.Prime Minister initiates something positive? He is one of the most qualified and intelligent PM and if he really decides to do, he can do it. He must realize that country is above each and every individual.

Yup! thats the need of today - DIRECT APPROACH. No sugar coating or beating around the bush. I feel the middle class have had enough. These are the sentiments of all India. It a matter of time when everybody will speak up like that and thats where these POLITICIANS will not have a place to hide.

And yes.. there is one STATUS for everybody - I N D I A N. Yes there should be none other.

That was a really tremendous letter to the prime minister. But unfortunately He will might not get any reply in the concern not because letter is useless but because our system today is so corrupted and in the hands of puppets who do not see anything worth. Nobody will be spared here is referred to petty criminals I guess but even they are out of hands of law.
Nothing can be done until and unless we all come out to do something. But still when people show their rage against injustice they are showed the middle finger by high officials and peple like us who are serving the common man send them back by hook or crook like lathicarge or anything like that. We have the primeminster but he is also a puppet.
We live in a democratic country where we have the right to say anything or criticise anyone but we do not have in system that anyone is listening to us. Because our leaders are that much corrupted that they just listen the sound of money. Look at the conditions of a country where commonwealth games are coming up in 1 month and still we are miles away from preparations.
They bought big houses and big cars and didn't even thought once for the country. I feel pity in all of my countrymen and me who are seeing this country which used to be a country where evryone want to live but today everyone want to get out of mess they(our leaders) have created.
It is a very nice effort by Mr. Prakash bajaj but I really feel pity on our sovereign that they will not be able to listen this plea and even if they will listen they will not react. Actually they will not be able to react...........
Sadho re ye murdon ka gaon.....

I agree with Mr. Anand. Shame on the Indian govt. Its been a habit for the ministers to make fake promises. Our country is democratic but that doesn't mean that people who rape our nation should be treated like normal human beings & their case should go on for years.

Shoot them at sight!!!
