A life that is long and good? Then watch your tongue! Keep your lips from telling lies! I very well understand what goes with in us and how difficult it is to have control over our tongue when we see others not adhering to the word of God and they demonstrate advantage in doing and getting things done. But then we are to change the people around and not get changed by the people around. I was looking for a solution to over come this problem and as usual I was blessed how David puts it across demonstrating and echoing my heart out through this. And began to burn, igniting a fire of words:” Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered, And that my life is fleeing away. My life is no longer than the width of my hand. An entire lifetime is just a moment to you; Human existence is but a breath.” Here we see that King David has confessed that he did not open his mouth even to speak the good things and how the anger built in his heart. So its important not to speak ungodly and bad words but its important to speak the Godly words through which the spirit of God is released. Just the other day I was listening to Prophet of God who was sharing about the power of words being proved by science and that got my attention.
