First Mail

To: HR Department

Joe Smith, my Asst Programmer, can always be found

hard at work in his cubicle. Joe works independently, without

wasting company time, talking to his colleagues. Joe never

thinks twice about assisting fellow employees and he always

finished given assignments on time. Often Joe takes extended

measures to complete the work, sometimes skipping

coffee breaks. Joe is an individual who has absolutely no

vanity inspite of his high accomplishments and profund

knowledge in his field. I firmly believe that Joe can be

classed as a high caliber employee, the type which can not be

dispensed with. Consequently, I duly recommend that Joe be

promoted to executive management and a proposal will be

executed as soon as possible.

Regards,

Project Leader

Second Mail

To: HR Department

Joe Smith was reading over my shoulder, while I wrote the mail, I sent you earlier in the day.

Kindly read odd numbered lines (1, 3, 5 etc) for my true assessment of his ability

Regards

Project Leader

Thanks,Virag for sharing a post on split personality.Though written as humor,it speaks volume of insanity prevailing in today's leader.Think, what HR would do in such cases.

Now we understand how an 'alternate strategy' works! Superb thought-provoking piece Mr. Murthy! Whosoever writes CR should definitely take cue from this!
