Manufacturing - Problems faced by small entrepreneurs

Many of the Government agencies which are there to help the investors as per the government's stipulated policies  generally give lot of impediments and test the patience and temper of the  investor. There are umpteen agencies like customs/excise, income tax, certification agencies like ISI, ESI/PF  and state agencies like factory inspectors,corporation authorities, Electricity boards , commercial tax people etc give all kinds of trouble in each and every step and demand money.

Unless and until you grease the palms of the concerned authorities you will get harassed in each and every step. I have seen and felt this as all the above agencies do this to extract money and discourage your efforts. Without these peoples cooperation nothing moves and many entrepreneurs had been forced to pay silently.

But once you grow up and become a big company then many of these will be will be done at a higher plateau and you will not be directly involved with these chota motta people. of course the problem also rests with many entrepreneurs are also at fault and try to do illegal activities and hence grease the palms of the authorities.

I once started a company for manufacturing electronic power conditioning instruments and half way I quit as I could not stand the harassment by the officials. All rules are used to control, suffocate and stop every effort taken.

Many may not openly agree with theabove but the truth is there for everyone to feel and act.
