Marketing and innovation are two basic areas from where any business can achieve desired positive results.

So where indian hospitals can strategize to get positive results?

a) By choosing marketing, brand building and public relations initiatives.

b) By adopting innovative ways in treatment or by inventing new process management.

What option will give us the desired ROI if we are an entrepreneur or intrepreneur?

Well, I think its will be innovation which can improve the ROI. Marketing plays no role if the no new technology or innovative ways of treatment is invented.... First innovate new ways of treatment then market that so that others will know about it...

Mr. Prakash, Your question refers to two aspirations, positive results and desired ROI. Both being relative to one -another, you may find solution if both (a) & (b) are integrated together for strategic execution. Technology must be deployed of non-obsolesce with innovative management processes to achieve desired targets, backed by rock-solid marketing execution. One in absence of other, is only for floaters!

My vote is for Innovation too. All of you wont believe it, I advocate not small time innovation but total overhaul. In the long run, healthcare entrepreneurs benefit by a change in approach rather than sticking to present healthcare delivery approaches.

I would just give a hint about what is bound to come...

A healthcare professional prescribes eye glasses, hearing aids, dental aids, migraine treatment and anti-ageing cosmetic treatment. In lieu, one single approach to tone-up and realignment of facial muscles can impact all the above healthcare branches drastically.

This is what I call total overhaul of healthcare delivery approach. I have done research for eight years and a revolution is likely to happen in this sphere.
