Indians need to get out of the picture of India which has been presented by media before them. Corruptions and scams have taken place, and are shameful of course, but the entire situation has been over hyped by opposition before the aam aadmi to stimulate him vote against the government. Actually the picture of India isn't as bad as it has been projected. We are the second fastest growing Economy. At a time where super powers like UK and USA are struggling to get out of the recession, we must appreciate country's economic progress and growth.
As far as the gap between rich and poor is concern, I personally feel that things are on an improvement path. Almost every average Indian possess a cell phone and electricity which was not the case years ago. Villages have roads, towns have been urbanized and metro cities have also been developed to a level where they can compete at international standards.
Talking about the post-budget scenario, it seems to me a deciding factor for the UPA government's fate in India since this is the best (and may be the last) chance for them to show the caliber they possess.
"Be it sabzi mandi or the petrol bunk.. even the pani puri prices have hiked by 2 rupees!! Where will aam admi go?? There is a need to fill the gap between the rich and poor." - This statement clearly depicts the way media projects the government. The arguments presented by them are totally superfluous. Pani puri rates have gone up by 2 Rs - will it really make difference to a fresh graduate who has been offered a salary of 25,000 at the age of 21 years which his father couldn't get at the age of 50 years even? Isn't this because of the Economic growth?
Petrol prices have gone up because government has removed administrative price mechanism which has caused the oil companies of India to incur heavy losses. And talking about subzi-mandi prices, I think things are well in control now, aren't they?
The bottom line is that, its pure and pure political propaganda used by opposition and media has also played a significant role in that. India doesn't need better planning, but it needs better implementation and better control. Taxing the richer is purely rational to curb the inflation. And I don't think this will make any significant impact to the luxurious lives of rich people.
I think people should not speak the language which media wants them to speak. What do you think??

We cannot say that media is favoring any party. BJP or congress media comes out with anything which is good or bad in both the parties. We start thinking too much and try to find clues which can make our perception stronger.. |
this is nothing but an irony of democracy...we have very limited choice to find a lesser devil amongst all .. |
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday admitted to goofing up on its 'most wanted' list, that was to be handed over to Pakistan, and has now withdrawn the list from its website. How irresponsible is this?! If they can do this then... |
