The "News of the World" will release its final edition on Sunday after 168 years in circulation. James Murdoch, the Media Mughal announced the closure of the News paper. He commented while announcing the closure of the News paper that "THE NEWS WORLD IS IN THE BUSINESS OF HOLDING OTHERS TO ACCOUNT. BUT IT FAILED WHEN IT CAME TO ITSELF. The decision of closure came amid allegations that the paper has unethically hacked into the files and phones of people related to the death of "Princes Diana" including the phones of politicians, Police Officers, etc.
I consider it as an ethical way of administration of a media. What about ethics of our media. We preach ethics to the world, but we never follow. Am I correct? Except a few, all news channels in India are managing their channels resorting to these unethical tactics and deciding fate of the Govts.
