How unfiar can the system go?? now if we complain against a company about the pollution they are causing we will have to pay 1 % of the compenstion asked!!

The rules note, "An application or appeal where compensation has been claimed, shall be accompanied by a fee equivalent to 1% of the compensation claimed, subject to a minimum of Rs 1,000."

Eg : If the Bhopal Gas Tragedy victims were filing for compensation today, under these new rules, they would have ended up paying more than Rs 10 crore to seek justice against Union Carbide.

So how can such unfair rule come up?? Is it right to introduce such rules?

Please note that the rule has been grossly misinterpreted here. When a compensation is bestowed by court order to an applicant, 1% of the compensation disbursed is to accrue to the government as a levy. This amount is not borne by the litigants but by the defaulting party against whom the rulling has been delivered. So the miscreants have to pay to the sufferers and the government. It actually means that the punishment is harsher. I hope I have cleared the air.

It is means rich man can pollute any where? Main object for saving enviroment is killed.Rules and laws are the paper work only.It is not possible to avoid pollution in one or two day.Our all activities harms enviroment. It is discovered that even water vapor is also damages so do you not use hot water for bath? Methane gas is continuesly leaved by all the trees which harm ozone layer. So it means nature wish pollution to make change for nex generation and this is nothing but progress of planet life.

Kindly check whether such rules exist?I'am sure there must be a mistake somewhere,it seems to be too blatant, that it will never pass the muster of the courts. If such a rule exists,it should be challenged in a court of law.
