In residential building we are apply the MONOSTRAND SYSTEM WIHT POST TENSIONING.with this technology slab thickness will be reduced up to 115mm th, steel qty - it will comes around 6 to 7 kg/m2.
It will be applicable in grade slabs, tennis courts, residential apartments, villas also.
pls (STRUCTURAL ENGINNERS,ARCHITECTS,CLIENTS)give your comments, consider PT in your projects to reduce the OVERALL COST.
There are various reason why we should consider post tensioning because of design flexibility, joints in structure can be minimized and it can improve improve the long-term durability of concrete structures exposed to aggressive environments. So its better to consider PT in all of our projects to reduce the overall cost.
