All education is finding one's own real center...true nature i.e., to be able to live happy, active, purposeful life, actualizing one's own gifted talents. This requires, identifying one's inherent potentialities. And this in turn requires, uncovering, developing them, if they are hidden or latent from consciousness. Life is nothing, but series (or line or chain) of possibilities...
This is the basic issue of dealing with Life.
To live Life most effectively against all odds ... is the basic issue.
Therefore, we have to live in harmony, peace, and effectiveness. This means producing results, bringing harmony in disharmony by relating better with both inside and outside possibilities and integrate them wherever required.This is the crux of whole education...as unfoldment, expansion, upliftment and reaching a cent-percent self-actualization, wholesomeness growth development in harmony as well as progress, prosperity in material (worldly) terms by enriching our and other's lives by removing and being free of lack, poverty,fear and dependence of any and every type.
We have to be open to our feelings-intutions, inner dreams-desire...drives, wishes, interests-Aptitudes...visions etc. Instead of, learning by rote (text book-learning), utilization of potentials and inner- latent talent, possibilities should take place leading to rightful living, concentration and developing wisdom & creativity.The secret is seeing possibilities in everything. We encounter uneducated responses from environment, when we are turned down by society in our industrial corporate office systems in adverse condemning ways. What is termed as integrating or relating better to the environment, with it's tension need and it's equivalent energy content i.e., problems-disturbance : looking for solution-balance, is nothing but to cope-up / overcome opposition, obstacles, condemnation (and judgement-unhealthy-hard energies generated by self-centered pool).
For this, concentration & orientation towards outward-extroverted behaviour is required. This is done by sharpening our sensors i.e., antennas, towards need fulfillment in the target group by self-specialization socially by developing suitability harmony...i.e., tuning towards it.This is the true education in tune with NATURE and NATURAL LAW & PRINCIPLES. This is also, the whole business of being successful, unique and living life effectively. And, true education should provide this. We have to discuss, how to do this. As, someone said every undertaking, project or work passes through 3- stages :
To develop and nurture the attitude of half - filled and half -open is the first step towards right education. A ray of hope is present in this positive attitude and situations only. This makes us alive, better human beings, living life more fully, functioning at higher efficiency levels practically.
Every individual is full of possibilities, potentials, unique to itself. We have to start with this premises ( assumption ) / base. He has to find out his own unique qualities, specialities (strength and weaknesses) and relate to his immediate surroundings.Whole exercise boils down to the integration, relation / interaction of the self - sharply, profiled speciality profile (developed to generate social specialization & attractiveness) to something other than self (i.e., foreign) - i.e., surroundings or environment and neighborhood Universe. The options, opportunities, problems in the surroundings look for solutions and needs - necessities and unfulfilled tensions conditions lookr for balance, neutralization and harmony as well as satisfaction and equilibrium.
This is happening, everywhere in the nature, Universe and all cosmic manifestation. The disturbance (or the disturbed state) is attracting or inviting or seeking, balance and equilibrium from the surroundings. If we are not ready (or fully equipped) to take on the challenge, we miss the opportunity and are not properly trained or educated. This is education in nutshell.This can be done by various strategies, techniques, tools, weapons, mental & skills training, attitudinal - developement etc. Everything is basically ENERGY and we act according to the laws of ENERGIES in various forms, frequencies, amplitudes, other characteristics in propogation, flow, transmission and action (also reaction - it's negative outcome).
Finally, we have to evaluate, identify our abilities correctly & honestly and match them with the available options and ambitions, personal or otherwise because ABILITY / AMBITION Equals HAPPINESS.This, I feel is a good and the only goal, purpose, objective of every life. The unfortunate part is that how often we are focussed mis-directedly because of external interferences is well experienced by us.

This is the the philosophy or theory of growth, evolution and/or unfoldment – or in short Education …
Perfection is the ultimate in this unfoldment or growth and the quality & characteristic of perfection is inherent in any seed.
This is the guiding principle, philosophy and the mission at Navodaya Vidyalaya or Vidya – Citi ……to provide nurturing and supportive environment to students who are budding scientists, engineers, doctors & bright careerists and responsible citizens of future.
As a great Indian & vedic philosopher of Modern India remarked ‘ Education is the unfolding of perfection already in man’ … we at Navodaya feel that individual nurturing is part & parcel of this process of education.
