Roll of ERP in recession.

For any business perhaps, the year ahead is going to be the most testing times of the decade.

The need of the day is to re-plan, set up, manage and expand the business, optimizing company’s resources diligently with right business processes in place.

I agree with your view point and would like to add few more.

ERP can play a key role during recession period by integrating all the operations of the organization thereby improve the efficiency & increase productivity. This would help the organization in optimally achieve the business goals with the available resources.

There are many ERPs available starting with internationally renowned ones like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics etc., as well the regional & local players. Every organization should look out for the right ERP solution for their specific business requirements & budgets rather than just going by the market hype.
