Stop Emotional Fighting

by Jane Powell

“If your life is a campaign against things, the things you fight will expand.” Is there is something in your life that you don’t want? If so, then stop worrying about it and stop talking about it.

You may not realize it, but the energy you put into fighting the issue, keeps it alive. Whenever you agonize over something, you breathe life into it.
Happily, the reverse is also true.
Withdraw your energy and focus and the issue shrinks, until it goes away.

It’s time to give yourself the relief you deserve.
Decide to truly let go of what you are fighting, emotionally, and watch as it evaporates and no longer robs your spirit.

Amazing alka.....

Great point. It is very difficult for us to understand what to take it and when to leave it. The minute you take things too seriously you’re digging yourself a hole. I really appreciate this post. If it becomes to stressful, this means that we are doing something wrong.

Keep sharing....

Thanks Ms.Alka Thakur,

The name Jane Powell would bring to mind, especially for senior citizens like me, the famous singer, dancer and actor of classic musicals like The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady and so on. There is another Jane Powell Thomas who is an author known as the 'bad girl of bungalow writing'.

This valuable quotation against emotional fighting, is from another Jane Powell, perhaps more relevant to us, famous for her website: www.meditationsforwomen.com. I can confidently say that any person, particularly woman, would be greatly benefited by visiting this site and getting inspired by her words.

This is indeed true... In fact I have noticed that if you are particularly obsessed withsome issue, it never ever presents a solution but keeps growing larger than normal all the time. The moment you decide to leave it alone, it offers a solution and then you fell why did you have to be obsessed about it so much??

You really have the ability Alka.. always hit the nail on its head... Drive the point through.. mazing indeed!! Your article and YOU! :))
