It is true that by helping others we can gain success more easily.
When we help others in other sense we help ourselves......as it is said knowledge increases if we distribute it among others.

Same when we help others in any thing we just make ourselves more accurate and strong in that thing and we make ourselves more capable.

We can help others only if we ourselves know anything about that and if a person is getting success by our help indirectly that is our own success.
