An old saying goes like this. Man proposes and God disposes. Expectancy of events turning on ones side with sudden stroke of luck is quite common in hindsight of most whether one is in a job, in a business or in any profession.

Often we get enamored too soon with offers by unscrupulous people or companies and instantaneously start building castles in air about our future.

We make hasty decisions on switching jobs or signing some business contracts. More often, we are enchanted by an advertisement or publicity drive and cozened into buying product, service or any offer that is not of that worth as perceived.

Insight is derived from a joke that appeared on some websites that i would like to modify into an amusing fable in order to convert it with a thought provoking outlook.

Once, a very rich man noticed a gardener who was feeding himself on grass while doing his work.  Astonished, the rich man enquired about peculiar behavior of the gardener.

The gardener replied that he was unable to both ends meet with his meager salary since he had a very large family to support therefore he had resorted to eating grass for meals. The rich man appeared sympathetic to the poor gardener’s plight and offered the gardener a job and his family a nice feed at his house.

The gardener thanked the rich man immensely and immediately left his earlier job and along with his family set out with him towards his house. On the way, the gardener continued to express his gratitude towards the benevolent behavior of the rich man.

The rich man explained that was not a big deal because his house had a very large lawn with very large tall green grass much better than where he had been working that would be sufficient for him to feed himself and his family for all his life.

Whom would you blame for “Tall Grass Syndrome”?  What is the moral of the story?

A term used to describe a girl you would have sex with but don't want anyone to know you did the dirty with. She is usually not never attractive but easy and desperate. So are you if you do her. I heard this term from a farm exchange worker from Australia about 15 years ago.

I WOULD BLAME IT ON THE " SITUATION OF LIFE "...
When a Man is faced with dire situations in Life,it is not the Man who makes a decision, it is his SITUATION, which makes Him do it.
It is NOT his GREED, which made Him go with the Rich Man, it was the thought that He could Feed his family, which made him do it.

The moral of the story.......
Haste makes waste,
Too much of anything is good for nothing,
Distance lends enchantment to the view,
look before you leap

This is a moral story for hoppers, Bhatia, but even after such moral stories, hoppers forget to see the carrot on top of the tallgrass. This is the result you get when expectancy of events turning on(management strategy) is not considered.
