There is systemic failures in every field as we are yet to make use of IT to garner the systems fully.

There are already more than enough systems and regulation in place in every sphere; but these are not being used or implemented effectively. If there is deficiency in the system in any field this need to be rectified.

Induction of technology in every institution and department to supplement and compliment existing systems are the right solution to ensure efficiency, avoidance of  delays and removal of corruption.

There are solutions to overcome delay in judiciary, to reduce rail accidents, to deter terrorist activities, to ensure efficiency in work place, to prevent corruption, to empower financial inclusion of people in the lower economic strata with non-banking services, to improve PDS etc.etc. with the help of technology.

In public offices and other departments, every job can be broken down to key responsible tasks of each official from Gr.4 to Ministers and fed into computers for its day today, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual evaluation.

Salary shall be drawn only based on the percentage of performance. Perks and promotions and punishments shall be implemented based on annual performance report generated by these computers.

Every ones personal assets, income and expenditure shall be monitored and accounted to find involvement in corruption and favoritism for pecuniary benefits of any nature.

Then we will not require impractical Lok Pal and the 'Anna Hazares' who pursue such un-constitutional ideology and extreme activities that disturb the minds and lives of people with sanity in the country.

Only technology can not bring any change , we need people with character , all technology in control of men , they can hide any corruption , wait for the day when technology becomes self -aware,

I agree with you, Sir. However, Technology will also need watchdogs which will again be governed by people in politics. Having said that, Lokpal is another system in itself and we will again have to look if that system would work. Ultimately its us the people who have to keep the torch burning. Reforms needs to go on and people need to embrace governance and politics with responsibility. May be a strong Lokpal is like moving from bad system to another, a step by step reform of policing, of judiciary and elections are the immediate goals.

In our type of democracy, government stand isolated from the needs and aspirations of people. The ways and means of current methods of governance are totally obsolete and need drastic change.
India with all its IT capabilities, it is high time we use super computers and systems and networks to make the governance people friendly, more effective, quick and to bring better rapport between government and the people.
