A little poem on corruption i found it somewhere..

Ek civil engineer ne ek bridge banaya..
Contractor tha uska contract laaya..
Jab adalat ne bridge par mukadma chalaya..
Bridge ghabraya..
Usne rote rote bataya..
Mene concrete aur cement nahi khaya..
Mene to bas ek chamch cement or reti se bhara bora khaya
Baki sab to in engineer n contractor in khaya..
Contractor aur engineer ko noto se bhara dabba dikhaya..
Noto to dekh judge ni us bridge k khilaaf fesla sunaya
Bridge bechara ye she nahi paaya..
Usne duniya se koi umeed karni hi chod di..
Aur jespe bana tha usi nadi me kood k atmhatya kar li..

True isn't it?

Very good analogy Pragya. The honest man today is the one who takes less bribe for more work and completes in less time. But Khata zaroor hai.

Hi Praghya its one of the best personifications I have read in recent times. What a witful manner to put forward the most grave issue of our society.

Now this is a very small example. The total cost of abridge is nothing in front of common wealth amd 2G and similar things. ye to chhoti moti bate hain hoti hi rahti hain.

Your example of corruption is nice and good.I want to ask about judgement of court after suicide of bridge.I know that. The judgement was given that both engineer and contractor are honest and faithful. They have done proper and as per rules so they are free from proceeding action.

One affair was lodged by a cultivator that the well dug by the block office is thefted. Enquiry revealed that two bills prepared one for digging and another for filling. Interestingly the block officials as well as the cultivator knows it and taken their shares. They planned for further benefits out of that imaginary well. This is the level of corruption in village areas.

Not only the Bridge, many people too committed and committing suicides. But who cares. Elected representatives are happy in their A.C Rooms. Ministers are happy with their black money. Head of the council of minister is in deep slumber. Common man half bent with rising prices. We submit our comments, when we see posts like above.
