hi folks, time for some humour.

india will send Indians to the moon next year !

Wow ! Really ? How many ?

25 OBCs, 25 SC, 20 ST, 5 Handicapped, 5 Sports Persons, 5 Terrorist Affected, 5 Kashmiri Migrants, 9 Politicians & if possible "an Astronnaut as well"

if this gets a shade of a smile - I've been paid. regards to all

Excellent one Brigadier Ji. Reflects today's political scenario. In a situation, where we demand reservations in Lok Pall Bill, your article is justified. Instead of looking at justice/solutions, we are looking at reservations (to meet political ends). God save India.. It is fortunate that we crossed the limits and enjoying our life. Thank God. I love my old age. God save younger generation and New India !!!

I'm coming in late but I can't help but throw in my two bits. :D Brigadier saheb, this joke is an excellent way of highlighting the silliness of the reservation system.

I sympathize with those who want reservations. Unfortunately, they are "wanting" the wrong thing. What they SHOULD be unanimous in "wanting" & getting from the government is MORE.

- MORE quality educational institutions: enough to educate ALL their children.
- MORE support from the government with regards to properly equipped lab & workshops as well as the procurement of raw material which would be used in said labs & workshops.
- MORE infrastructure & facilities.
- MORE encouragement of very-small-scale-entrepreneurs of their communities, etc.

dear all, thx for your contributions and time. what was meant to be just a small stress buster did a shade more - thx to your indulgence.
its true that we can do very little - but we can - and we must. jokes apart, let's be more serious about whom we vote for in future - hopefully one day we may get mature governance which takes better informed and more rational decisions - for every one's benefit.
at our own levels let's try and help each other with whatever we are capable of contributing. every drop in this ocean counts. just as prerna has shared her experience, we've all had our share. let the "rest" never be found wanting in helping the "rest". and if i may, there is no embargo on helping the non - rest types either - they too are part of us. adieu for now

General Candidates: Answer All questions. (that's the "rest" of us)
OBC: Answer any ONE question Of your choice.
SC: Only read the questions
ST: Thanks for coming to examination hall.

keep smiling !!!!!!

thx guys for the encouragement. here i go with some more.... we need reservations in all areas. we could start with our cricket team. 30 percent OBC etc etc etc. You know the line. rules to be modified. boundary reduced for an SC/ST players. OBC player scoring 60 runs to be declared as a century. bowling faster than 40 kmph to OBC to be declared as a no ball !!!

next – most imp - reservations in govt jobs. we’ll start with doctors and pilots – 30 pc OBC etc etc – oh well by now i’m sure you know the line by heart - pilots for aircrafts carrying the politicians and doctors dedicated to look after the health of the same guys and their families. lets help our country... our nation needs such out of the box thoughts. proud to be Indian. complain if you must - but please please do it smiling – that also is intended. regards

In India, there are many students and job seekers who could not get through just because they do not come under reservation castes. This is ridiculous. Government should come up with some amendments to abolish such reservations. Let reservation be based on Financial Background and Merit.

Though this was a humour, my serious thinking is that the reservation part should be taken away from all the sectors. Let people get a job and higher education based on merit. Also if a student is brilliant, but do not have money to continue education, he/she can be given preference, that is fair. But reservation based on caste is really humiliating.

Mind blowing. British ruled India for more than 300 yrs., with "Divide and Rule" policy and the Indian politicians and Political parties took the "baton" and continuing the legacy. God can only save India.

Thank you very much Mr. Brigadier for this hilarious post.

Dear Brigadier Sir, Of course this is an appreciable humor at present but if we look it's applicability in future this seems to me the most practical theory and it's perfect description.
Moreover this put a smile instantaneously but put my thinker psychological container work and process rapidly and got that smile vaporized in a flash............
May be I am overreacting and over thinking upon a feather light and non thinkable issue.

the aim was to make you smile ardhendu - not to scare you. look at it like this - if things get even worse from here - some change for the better may be on the cards.

OMG!........
I am really into the dark future and I may now stand by my resolution of not marrying because I will never want my kids to be the victim of this same reservation demon which has really eaten up half of my glorious life and now seeming a total of my fantastic future.
Salutations Brigadier Sir.
