Understand Business Priorities
The CIOs of the future must be much more strategic, and probably the main change agents of the organization. A closer relationship with business executives, and a deeper understanding of their priorities, can help a CIO determine what tasks would be most efficiently addressed in house or out.
Build Trust, Not Competition
There's always a tendency to mistrust third parties. You can always think you do everything right and blame mistakes on third parties.
Use a Wide-Angle Lens
IT executives must take a holistic view of end-to-end processes to understand outsourcing's potential benefits. By knowing the way different products are developed and implemented and how that impacts the company's business processes—or in Best Buy's case, how it might impact the customer experience—they'll get a better idea of what works

By being patient...If a sales person is not patient then I the buyer will will wait till he loses his patient and makes the deal. If you are impatient in a negotiation you will not be able to negotiate successfully. So don't rush to make the wrong deal.. |
Kids are the ones who drive sales to the next level. They have different approach towards products. What are the things which needs to be taken care of when targeting to the most innovative and enqusisitve class of the society i.e. kids? |
Better target people or the consumer rather than targeting companies. Because these are the people who will generate revenue. |
