This is part and parcel of business. Selling & buying never remains at a static point. Every one knows this from years, particularly, when you know oil price dictates the country's economy. Mostly , oil producing nations are passing through a turmoil in the political scenario. We need to find and use an alternative energy to cope up this kind of upheavals. Are you prepared for it? Are the Oil companies in India ready to find an alternative or to run after the Oil rich to make them rich?

This is not the news to put on headlines.
Government should now declare monthly increase in fuel charges in %. So that nobody has to remember the correct price.
Actually,Governement should act on Public sector Oil company to cut the cost. There are wastage of resources, storage,as well as price manipulation for the same.

I think the prices must be determined by MARKET, not Government.

The subsidy era must come to an END and let if float free. Otherwise, we suffer in one way or th eother.

If we take on to streets addressing corruption, to divert your attention, Government has many arm-twisting methods - this is one of them! Do we have courage to put up with it, or oppose it?

its seems sad to read that we Indian people just accept what is given to us very easily ..... just writing here and accepting the upraising of the government is just not acceptable . if they charge us so much for the fuel.... does the govt provide us with sufficient facility ??? an answer to the increased prices is still blank .....when oyu just increase the prices for the common men and the govt does not provide sufficient resources .... the increase in prices is not at all JUSTIFIED....... its all that the govt needs more number of vehicles for their propaganda and the money comes by increasing the price after every few WEEKS i must quote..... i hope things get better !!!!
INDIANS WAKE UP AND ASK THE GOVT A JUSTIFIED REASON FOR THE TREMENDOUS INCREASE IN PRICES !!!!! there are vehicles runnig all over the world... its only India which increases prices so often .. Y?

I agree with Satya Prakash Choudhary that its time to minimise usage of petrol/diesel by going for public transport, using bicycle,or electric cars/bikes as far as possible. If all of us adopt this strategy then demand for petrol/diesel will come down, petrol prices will dip, prices of goods transported by petrol/diesel will also come down, global warming can be arrested, our health will also improve(after all the walking & running for public transport!!)cheers & regards to one and all,use adversity as an opportunity!!

It is due to minimization of govt. subsidy. Let us hope that we will get some subsidy for our salary from our respective employer.
Thanks for referral, Darshana.
