Lets look at Top 20 applications for
the iPhone. If you have other favorite apps, you can leave a comment with
their name and why do you consider it is a must have application.
1. Apollo
Apollo is the best Instant Messenger
for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It
supports
MSN, ICQ, AIM and .MAC.
It was developed by "Arminius" and with the help
from the iPhone community, Apollo IM is getting better and better.
In the
future is expected to support Yahoo,
Jabber, GTalk, Gadu-Gadu, Bonjour and file transfers.
2. Customize
With this application you change every thing on your device. For example if you don't like the battery icon you can customize it. More and more people are releasing image packs so this application is getting better every day.
Some of this does work for the iPod Touch as well.

3. SmartRSS
There are 2 choices for RSS on your iPhone: SmartRSS and Mobile RSS but the birst one is better both aesthetically and functionally.
Just add your feeds and your have a full featured RSS reader on your iPhone.
The goal of Mobile RSS is to create a native iPhone application which will remember all your feeds and give you an easy interface for adding viewing and removing.
4.iPhlickr
This cool iPhlickr app offers a nice way to browse Flickr pics. Anytime, anywhere you can experience an awesome photo browsing.

5. Remote
With this app you can transform your iPhone into a remote control to control your music on Apple TV or in iTunes on your computer via your Wi-Fi network.

6. Google Mobile
This days everybody uses Google for searching. Now you can get Google right on your iPhone! So when you need to find something on the Internet, Google Mobile App makes it easy and quick to get the information on your phone.

7. iPhysics
iPhysics is a nice iPhone application which allows you to control objects on the scree by using the integrated proximity sensor. You can draw odd shapes on the screen and then watch them bounce around as you spin the phone.
8. Youtube
YouTube on iPhone? Of course. There is a search feature, a featured list, a recently added list, most viewed, and other usual stuff.

WebSearch is an application that allows you to search in many different websites. You can add as many websites into WebSearch as you want and that makes the process of finding very easily.
12. VoiceNotes
Ever wanted to remember something but don't like typing that into the iPhone? With VoiceNotes you can record a short audio message. Why type when you can speak?
13. Mobile banking
If you are a Bank of America customer you can manage your banking right from your iPhone. Mobile Banking lets you find the nearest ATM with a touch of a button. You can check balances 24/7 and you can pay bills or transfer funds.

14. Facebook
Are you a social networking lover? Facebook app lets you upload photos to facebook, start a conversation with Facebook Chat, check your friends' status or photos.
If you want more feature just wait because Facebook promises to add more features in the future.
15. eReader
If you want to read eBooks on your iPhone you must have an application like eReader. You can read free eBooks available all over the internet or you can buy them from websites like ereader.com, fictionwise.com etc.
16. PhoneSaber
This application is absolutely useless but it's fun.You can turn your iPhone into a lightsaber and swinging it around your head. You can change the color of your lightsaber and hear some lightsaber sound effects.
17. Pandora
Pandora is a favorite music streaming applications. Pandora analyzes the music you like and tries to provide more of the same. Pandora is simply the easiest and most effective way to listen.
18. Super Monkey Ball
Super Monkey Ball is one of the most popular games for the iPhone but costs 9.99 cents.
The designers have included 110 different stages which makes it worth the money.
19. WordPress
Most of us have blogs on Wordpress platform and what could be more fun than to create and edit content on your blog directly from your iPhone?
20. WeatherBug
Although iPhone comes with a weather application, WeatherBug application can provide more details like wind speed, severe weather alerts, detailed forecasts, and more.
Google maps is used to zoom in and get to your local area to see if a storm is close to you or not.
