I recently participated in an ET panel discussion. The slides are attached below.

 

Some recommendation to entrepreneurs

  • Hard to predict when markets would be getting better
  • Cut down burn to the extent possible
  • Try to get to profitability asap
  • Don’t spend ahead of market to try and get market-share
  • Great time to understand need & build value into products and services, without overspending on sales & marketing
  • Make sure you’re in it for the right reasons; not for a quick exit, esp, with India still being very early in many ways
