Hey I am really happy to share this one!!!

Two is a small number but still we should be proud of them. There are so many men up their in this list but these ladies really rock!!

There are 50 people on the list.. out of which there are just 2 women..

The first among them was the non-executive chairperson of Jindal Steel and Power Limited and JSW Steel, Savitri Jindal. The lady is not only the wealthiest woman in India, but also the 56th richest person in the world! The mother of 9 kids has an estimate of $13.2 B along with her family. Kudos to her for this success!

Following her is the chairperson of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd.  Indu Jain. The 74-year-old lady rank’s 440th on the entire list, and is the 21st richest Indian with an estimate of $2.6 B.

Must we say these women made us proud!

I hope one day I too will somewhere on these lists.. Hope my dreams come true.. Wish me luck:)

Cheers to the indian women but if you look closer this wealth was not earned by them but what was left behind by their husbands after their demise. So they are billionaires by default. I would have been proud had a Kiran mazumdar made it to the list. Anyway lots of luck to you in your quest !

Its a good news - getting a few self-made women would have made it better - the best achievers. Darshana - I wish you too top the list, rather the list which includes Indra Nooyi and Kiran Mazumdar Shaw - money can always follow :-)

Definitely a good news to cheer.....But how can we Indians can be happy.....when we will think the fact that if we make a list of Billioners from the corruption list or black money list......sure majority will be INDIANS.....

Hot news: What a shame: A sessions court in Mumbai has granted India's biggest tax evader (US$ 8billion estimate) Hasan Ali Khan bail.

I thought Hosni Mubarrack, will be the top billionaire , followed by Carlo Slim. Fortunately, Forbes still, describes Carlo in the top. We are happy to count numbers of top richest women but, we want it go countless. That day, you will find India as US.
