As business and technology is growing in size, reduction is going on in the design and size of operating technological devices and processes.The approach of miniaturization of technological processes were even microsecond or micrometer is considered huge, is what we are going to deal with in this article, yeah defenitelly about the Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI), which involves packing more and more logic devices into smaller and smaller areas.
VLSI is the basic component of todays hi tech electronic devices like mobile, digicams, notebooks, cars and the list goes on. The employmet of such technology has enabled not only highly appplicable integration but also prevents space in this congested scenario.
It is now very interesting to know about the designing of thses highly integrated miniature technological devices. A typical digital design flow of VLSI follows as:
