Inspired by the successful use of ceramic materials in the NASA space program which reflected intense heat during vehicle re-entry, a step forward was taken to apply that same durable, protective, and energy efficient coating to the roofing industry. A new company was formed, "Insulating Coatings Corporation". Under our "Quality Policy", we have dedicated ourselves to the production of high quality, environmentally friendly, fluid-applied membranes and systems that solve industrial problems, improve appearance, and save energy, while adding to the weathertight sustainability of restored roofs, walls and industrial surfaces.
ICC manufactures the Astec Re-Ply Roofing systems and fluid-applied membrane systems for the sustainable restoration of roofs, walls, and other industrial surfaces. Our elastomeric products and systems provide seamless waterproof and weathertight barriers, as well as offering high reflectivity and dissipation of heat, all while reducing UV light degradation. ASTEC membranes can add advantages to any substrate and can lead to maintenance and energy cost reductions. ASTEC ceramic, roofing, wall and industrial systems test beyond typical standards for longevity, wind resistance, durability, pliability, abrasion resistance; salt, chemical, and corrosives resistance, all while reducing thermal shock damage and the high cost of temperature control.
The maximum benefits of any product are achieved through proper installation. ICC's superior warranties are assured by the thorough screening, selection, and training of our Authorized Applicators. They are responsible for initial site surveys, contract estimates, application, and follow-up inspections. As such, their skills must extend beyond the professional application of the Astec systems to qualified assessments of roofing needs, benefits and costs. Our Applicators will coordinate efforts with architects and other contractors, as well as creating organized schedules of procedure. ICC Authorized Applicators must always demonstrate the integrity, trust, and reliability that ICC customers expect.
