WHAT US WITHDRAWAL FROM AFGHANISTAN MEANS FOR INDIA

INDIA should also force US not to withdraw troops from Afghanistan. Its really a bad news for INDIA. Now all militants from PAK and other countries will get freedom to start their campaign freely in Afghanistan. Its a serious issue. thanks for the information Sharma Ji. 

A big blow for India. Talibans welcomed withdrawal of American troops in their style by killing the kin of President Mr. Karzai.      The strategic point Kabul is now in the hands of three rogues (Al-Qaeda, Taliban and ISI).   Unless our security forces are more vigilant, it is difficult for us contain  free entry of Talibans into our land. We can expect a surge in the extremist activities in India.

Thanks Mr. Rajeev for referral.  Recent killing of Afghan's President's half brother Ahmed Wali Karzai in Kandahar by his own close associates sends warning signal to all of us.  More so, Taliban claimed that they were behind this killing and had assigned Mohammed to carry it out a long time back.  We also have to bear in mind Pakistan's recent lull with China and showing indifference to the US in Afghan issue while taking a strong Indian view in this matter.  India is already waging a proxy war with the home-grown terror-groups. After US troops' withdrawal from Afghanistan, we have two more forces to reckon with (Taliban and Al-Qaeda)!

I personally feel that US withdrawl is a big blow to India (though the troops withdrawl is in the interests of America). Our top crisis management team - whether UPA or NDA - lacks the will and courage to face talibans or for that matter destroying the terrorist camps on the border areas.
