Hey people I saw for the first time Toostep name appearing in a news daily in an article mentioned "Top IT firms log on to social networking sites to hire middle & senior-level staff". I don't know whether it had appeared earlier, but I did some research on it and I didn't find any for that matter...So. I guess this was the first time.
Nearly half of new middle- and senior-level staff at top tech firms — including Accenture, Cognizant, Mindtree, HP-Mphasis and Wipro — are going to be hired from social networking sites such as LinkedIn, company officials and experts tracking the sector said.
Tech firms are now realising that middle-to senior-level managers and leaders are best hunted from platforms such as LinkedIn, where professionals are not necessarily disgruntled job seekers.
The recruiters have also categorised the networking sites according to the candidates they want to source. For hiring freshers and those with less than three years of experience, Orkut and Facebook are among the hunting grounds. LinkedIn is ideal for senior- and mid-level managers, recruiters said. Meanwhile, specialists are hired through networking tools like Teng, Peer Power, Spoke, Toostep and other executive networking groups.
And apart from reaching out to the target candidates more efficiently, HR managers are increasingly impressed with their success rate of hiring through social networking.

So some PR I guess for Toostep with this, I don't know how much impact it will creat may be less may be nothing at all as the article read by viewers will be very less, but Toostep has all the quality to make it to the top Indian professional social networking site after linkedin don't you think so..........OR else what is that is required for Toostep to be more visible like Linkedin and other social networking sites????
