Where are we going -Part 2

First of all I apologize to Mr. Suryanarayan Murthy for borrowing his title, but anyways nothing seemed to fit well in this context.

Now, as reported by media that in Indore, school girls are taking the alcoholic drink VODKA in their water bottles. I really feel that where is our discipline, our richest tradition, our ethics, our integrity in mutual obligation?

This incident becomes weird after the revelation of the fact that this is a common phenomena in the big city and metropolitan ones. The students shamelessly accept that they take it to get high. But why? What's the craze? Why so much greed? Why when the actual eligible age is 25 they cannot wait?

Another set of question follows that who are responsible? Who's fault is this? Whom to be blamed for is it the parents, or the naughty students or the bartender or liquor shop owner? Where is the law and order? Is the law in this country so cheap to buy?

Where are we actually going? To a brighter  future? Or to the dark one?

I don't dare to deny that it is necessarily important for a family of a big city midst soaring price hike, both husband and wife are compelled to work for a better lifestyle and comfortable dwelling as well as giving their kids a good education. But if this is the consequence then what? I have learned that the very first teacher is the mother herself, is this her teaching? Or the culprit is the father who makes things easily available without imposing discipline within his family? Or it is the poor and weak law and order who is for sale within just few bucks? Who is really accountable for this?

To me very frankly I cannot see a good future if there are such cases of premature drinking, overexposing underage immature girls,  the so called easy to go attitude.

What should be done to put an end to all these anti-social happenings? Will only suspension order is enough to mend them?

Where are those religious and moral values that India once boasted of? Is everything busted? We have to put a full stop to all these and ensure it's nonoccurrence in future.
